Carved into the dramatic crest of Bel Air, The Obsidian Pavilion represents a masterwork of modern residential engineering. Conceived as a floating pavilion over the Pacific coastline, the residence achieves complete indoor-outdoor fluidity through 14-foot floor-to-ceiling automated glass walls that pocket seamlessly into fluted travertine pillars.
The main entertaining level features a double-height great room flanked by zero-edge reflection ponds, custom Italian bronze millwork, and a monolithic Roman Silver Travertine fireplace. Outside, a 75-foot cantilevered infinity pool extends out toward the Pacific horizon, creating an ethereal sensation of floating between sky and ocean.
